SEAMAN Sea Survivor Locator Light With Sea Water Battery Pull handle
This survivor locator light is a reserve battery-powered emergency light to be installed on the individual and multiple flotation devices in order to indicate the location of survivors in water caused by aviation accidents. When the survivor locator light contacts water, it will be automatic activated and keep outputting the steady white light more than 1cd light intensity during at least 8 hours, which can uninterruptedly indicate the survivor’s location to increase the success rate of rescue.
Installation Requirement
This survivor locator light can be installed on floating devices such as aviation life jackets, life rafts and lifeboats which are carried by airplane. The light will be automatically activated to output the steady white light over 1cd light intensity during at least 8h working time as soon as contacting with water. No matter what kind of flotation device the light is installed on, the users should ensure as following:
1 The location light should be firmly mounted on the device and the upper hemisphere of light should be clearly seen in the 360°horizontal direction without any obstacle.
2 The battery pack should be firmly installed on device and the installation position must ensure that the battery pack will be immersed into water when the floating device drops in the water.
3 If the light is with manual pull ring, the manual pull ring should be always installed on the battery pack, and make sure it can be automatically removed before the floating device is taken out from the packing bag or inflated.
Storage Instructions
1. Lights, whether in containers, cartons or other, should be kept in a cool, dry, environment
2. Containers/Cartons should not be stored directly on a floor or anywhere else where there is a concern that they might get wet.
